How to create the Ping Type Text

To create a ping enter a name inside the text field. This name won’t be displayed for users.

Next, select the type of notice: Text. Then click on the create notice button.

Then further configure the notice as you wish.

Click on the Save button.

NEW IN SUITE 5.13 & 6.2 The Ping type text can now be displayed with confetti or fireworks. 🎉

When creating a Linchpin Ping, you can now optionally add one of two visual effects: confetti and fireworks. This is a great way to add some sparkle to your announcements.

Configure a notice

Within the notice configuration, enable the Active the notice slider button (green = active).

In the Display options section, enter the title of your notice.  NEW IN SUITE 5.13 & 6.2 You can now also choose an animation. You have the option to choose either fireworks or confetti!

In the Content configuration section, enter the text (and image if you like) which should be displayed to users.

In the Schedule section, you can decide how often the notice should be displayed.
