Linchpin Enterprise News:

Linchpin Enterprise News now allows you to define multiple atom feeds, enabling precise targeting for different groups. With this new feature, you can curate and distribute specialized news streams tailored to specific audiences within your company, ensuring everyone receives the most relevant updates.

Moreover, the News Transfer offers a seamless solution for effortlessly transferring news between Linchpin instances.

Bugfixes

  • We fixed a problem with special characters in the Atom feed xml.
  • 5.11.1 Links to attachments have sometimes been broken for anonymous users retrieving the Atom news feed. We encouraged them to remain intact.
  • 5.11.1 Searching in the News Hub finds news with the keyword in kicker and intro text fields again.
  • 5.11.1 We fixed the “updated” elements in the Atom feed to correctly show the most recent dates.
  • 5.11.1 Within Linchpin Suite, Mandatory News were overeager and appeared while Terms of Use or Onboarding had not been finished yet. This has been fixed.
  • 5.11.1 The preview didn’t show correctly some news metadata. This has been fixed.
  • 5.11.1 When editing a news article together, news metadata were not synchronized correctly. This has been fixed.
  • 5.11.1 When a user was deleted, they couldn’t be removed from the Mandatory News configuration anymore. This has been fixed.
  • 5.11.1 In rare cases, the Confluence index contains deleted blog posts which led to the “Show older news” button not being displayed in news feed macros. We fixed that.
  • 5.11.2 We changed the wording of the publish button, when removing the publish date from a blogpost. Now it should be clear, that the button will publish the news directly.
  • 5.11.2 The load more functionality of our news feed macros was broken. This has been fixed.
