Linchpin is Ready for Confluence 9! 🎉

Our team has worked hard to ensure Linchpin is fully compatible with Confluence 9. While our initial Confluence 9-compatible release doesn’t yet support dark mode, we recommend enjoying all the enhancements using light mode for now.

Stay tuned — dark mode compatibility is on our roadmap!

Linchpin Intranet Suite

Confluence 9

Bugfixes

  • 6.0.1 – We fixed an issue with displaying profile pictures within the Content Responsibility macro configuration.
  • 6.0.1 – We fixed the optics of date input fields in the People Search & List macro.
  • 6.0.1 – We fixed a bug that broke the sorting order when ordering by date fields in the People Search & List macro.
  • 6.0.1 – The radio button for the profile background images setting now shows the correct state.
  • 6.0.1 – A link in a profile field led to the whole text being linked and line breaks disappearing. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.2 – In rare cases, an error “Error occurred during template rendering” was shown that made the system unusable. We fixed that.
  • 6.0.2 – System errors when trying to view user profiles should be a thing of the past.
  • 6.0.2 – We fixed the Custom User Search macro that had issues when restricting the search to groups.
  • 6.0.3 – In some cases the people list didn’t show all results when using additional filters. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.3 – We fixed a problem with deleting date field values in profiles when the corresponding LDAP field doesn’t exist anymore.
  • 6.0.3 – Special characters in profile fields were broken, if imported via xml. This has been fixed.

Confluence 9

Bugfixes

  • 6.0.1 – Searching in the News Hub finds news with the keyword in kicker and intro text fields again.
  • 6.0.1 – Within Linchpin Suite, Mandatory News were overeager and appeared while Terms of Use or Onboarding had not been finished yet. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.1 – The preview didn’t show correctly some news metadata. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.1 – When editing a news article together, news metadata were not synchronized correctly. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.1 – When a user was deleted, they couldn’t be removed from the Mandatory News configuration anymore. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.1 – In rare cases, the Confluence index contains deleted blog posts which led to the “Show older news” button not being displayed in news feed macros. We fixed that.
  • 6.0.3 – We changed the wording of the publish button, when removing the publish date from a blogpost. Now it should be clear, that the button will publish the news directly.
  • 6.0.3 – We fixed the unread badge for news in combination with the Viewtracker app that was broken with Confluence 9.
  • 6.0.3 – The load more functionality of our news feed macros was broken. This has been fixed.

Bugfixes

  • 6.0.1 – We fixed a bug that aborted the Theme Wizard during the logo upload.
  • 6.0.1 – In some cases the footer was intersecting with the content of a page. We fixed that.
  • 6.0.3 –We ensured compatibility with Confluence 9.3.

Linchpin Events

Confluence 9

Bugfixes

  • 6.0.1 – The event calendar now shows more than 500 events per month. The new limit is at 1000 events for performance reasons.
  • 6.0.1 – The macro “Event Calendar” was missing CSS classes for the new Event Labels. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.1 – Under certain circumstances the dialog for creating a new event showed unnecessary fields. We fixed that.
  • 6.0.1 – We fixed a bug that made a warning message way too large.
  • 6.0.1 – We fixed the optics of too long event category and label names.
  • 6.0.3 – We fixed a bug where the ICS files didn’t respect daylight savings time changes.
  • 6.0.3 – We fixed a bug that sent out unneccessary mails with ICS files.
  • 6.0.3 – With several event macros on one page, signing up didn’t work properly. It does again now.
  • 6.0.3 – In some cases participants were not notified about the deletion of an event. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.3 – When you signed up for an event that had already started, you didn’t get an email notification. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.3 – In some circumstances, the participant export for events ran into an error. This has been fixed.
  • 6.0.3 – We fixed the sign up button that was inactive when it shouldn’t have been.
