Linchpin Intranet Suite 6.1 & 5.12

Summary & Highlights

Welcome to Linchpin Intranet Suite 6.1 & 5.12!

Admins, event editors, and creators can now see who’s exactly on the waitlist. This helps to prioritize and manage those eager to attend as spots become available, while also improving the overall event experience by reducing uncertainty.

Sometimes you just need that little bit of extra space to make your event stand out. Event descriptions can now be up to 1,000 characters, giving you the freedom to provide more detail, grab attention, and engage attendees like never before.

Moreover, you can now enter copyright information for event images as well as news teaser images. This not only gives credit where credit is due, but it also enhances transparency and professionalism within your organization. By providing clear attribution, you demonstrate respect for creators and ensure legal compliance, safeguarding your company from potential copyright issues.

News Teaser images now require a mandatory alt text to ensure accessibility. This important update ensures that all users, including those with visual impairments, can fully understand and engage with your news content. By adding descriptive alt text, you’ll not only improve accessibility, but also improve your content’s SEO and overall user experience. We understand that sometimes things get missed, so as a fallback, if the user doesn’t enter a proper alt text, the image file name is used.

The country, language and multi-select profile field types are now writable to Active Directory (AD). This makes your intranet user profiles more dynamic and easier to maintain.
