Welcome to Linchpin Intranet Suite 6.2 & 5.13!

Linchpin (for 6.2 only) is now compatible with Confluence’s Dark Mode! 🎉 Your intranet will now look great no matter which mode your users prefer. 😉

Now, when you create a Linchpin Ping, you have a new way to celebrate great news! You can optionally add one of two fun visual effects: confetti or fireworks. This is a great way to add some extra sparkle to your announcements.

6.2.5

  • When a user moved up from the waiting list to the attendee list because someone else cancelled, that someone’s name appeared in the notification mail. In cases where the participation list is hidden, that shouldn’t happen. We fixed this.

  • Linchpin Events Teilnehmer bekommen erfahren über eine eMail-Notification den Event-Creator, obwohl im Event die Option “Hide Event Creator” aktiv ist.

  • We fixed a stored XSS vulnerability.

Bugfixes

  • We fixed a bug that prevented configuring the columns in the People Search & List macro.
  • 6.2.1 Fields of the field type “Date” can now be emptied via XML sync.
  • 6.2.1 When sorting by username in the People Search & List macro, the sorting was faulty. It’s now neat as it should be.
  • 6.2.1 We fixed the “Profile AJS.Metadata” module.
  • 6.2.2 We fixed a potential XSS vulnerability in the People Directory and People Search & List macro.
  • 6.2.3 We now reliably translate select field values when the value is an i18n key.

Linchpin Theme

New Features
ONLY IN 6.2

  • With Linchpin Theme, you can now define the look and feel of your Linchpin Intranet both for the light and dark mode. Make sure your site looks snazzy, no matter what mode users prefer!
    Please note: Space themes are not yet supported.

Bugfixes

  • 6.2.1 Some color settings were ignored in Space Layouts. They won’t be anymore.
  • 6.2.1 We clarified an explanation for the header image sizes in light and dark mode.
  • 6.2.1 The global link color setting didn’t work correctly in some cases, for example the “saved for later” view. This works now as intended.
  • 6.2.2 We fixed a potential XSS vulnerability in the Linchpin Teaser macro.
  • 6.2.2 We don’t try to load an non-existent CSS file anymore.
  • 6.2.4 We fixed a JS error in the Linchpin Teaser macro that was introduced in 6.2.2.
